Streaming Video
Video streaming over the internet is the latest technology to be embraced by Nadel National Network.

Streaming is the technology of sending both audio & video from one computer to another. It's called streaming because after the initial pieces of picture & sound information are sent to your computer and are playing, the rest is sent in a constant "stream". So, you don't have to cool your heels waiting for the whole thing to download before you can watch it.

Unfortunately for now, streaming is more "Art Form" than Science. The reason for that has a great deal to do with something called "bandwidth". Thinking of your internet connection as a pipe, bandwidth is the amount of information you can stuff into that pipe, that's the "Science" part. However, bandwidth is not just dependent on computer & connection speeds, bandwidth can also be affected by how crowded the Internet pipe is at any particular time. So we have to pay particular attention to how we prepare a video piece to be played. That's where the "Art" part comes in.
